PURA VIDA
The motto of the Ticos, the people of Costa Rica, is no coincidence. The Central American country took 1st place in the “Happy Planet Index 2016”. This states that the inhabitants of the world are the most satisfied and happiest in terms of their personal well-being, the (intact) environment and equal opportunities.
With a population of around 5 million, Costa Rica is an economically dynamic and safe country. It has one of the most modern infrastructures in Latin America. The country is framed by the Pacific and Caribbean Oceans, which are separated by only 135 km at the narrowest point of land.
More and more people
are moving to Costa Rica
Around 3.5 million tourists visit the country every year – and the trend is rising – with almost half of them coming from the USA and Canada alone. Ecotourism and golf tourism have excellent prospects. With the establishment of the National Center for Congresses and Events (CNCC), Costa Rica is also developing into a magnet for conference tourism.
In addition to the country’s two international airports, visitors and guests can also use one of the 150 smaller airports for arrivals and departures – the latter can be reached by private aircraft.

Living where others
like to go on holiday!
Breathtaking landscapes, the beautiful weather and the aforementioned relaxed lifestyle make Costa Rica a place where you feel comfortable and maybe even discover your new home . No wonder that a steadily growing number of emigrants from the USA, Canada, Great Britain and the DACH region are looking for – and finding – their new home here.
The stable political and economic situation as well as a developed administrative and regulatory system provide a reliable framework for concluding transactions. As a property owner, you can rest assured that your property rights will be respected and that your investment will yield attractive returns.
Costa Rica is a good place to live and cheaper than in Europe . With around EUR 2,000 a month, a married couple can already make a very comfortable living. Buying and building your own home is also currently considerably more attractive than in the DACH region: building a detached house to European standards costs between EUR 900 and EUR 1,200/m², while the average cost of building a villa is around EUR 1,500/m².
So, listen to your heart (and of course your mind!) and discover Costa Rica!
