Since April 1, 2022, good news has brought relief for tourists in Costa Rica. The previous obligation to fill out the “Pase de Salud” has been abolished since this date. This means that from now on no proof of health insurance is required. The vaccination requirement will also no longer apply. Travelers can thus start their trip to Costa Rica easily and without additional bureaucratic effort.
Another positive change concerns the hotel and catering industry. Since April 1, 2022, the previously applicable capacity restrictions have also been lifted. This means that hotels and restaurants can once again use their full capacity to provide their guests with a carefree stay.
